Static Caravan Update

Whilst camping is still not allowed due to campers having to share washing and shower facilities, there is some good news for our UK caravan parks.  From the 12th April 2021 parks will be able to welcome back their static caravan, motorhome and touring caravan customers.

Once re-opened caravan parks are again expected to be very busy as the uncertainty regarding foreign holidays continues.

Demand is expected to be especially high for self-contained static caravans, lodges and chalets and if as anticipated the park’s caravan hire fleets are all let, then private owners may be asked if they would like to let out their caravans when they are not using them?  This will give caravan owners the opportunity to earn a little extra cash whilst allowing parks to increase supply.

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that Jackson Lee’s static caravan insurance customers will now have the option to include cover for the letting of their caravans.  Cover includes accidental damage cover and £5 million public liability cover as standard and is available to caravan owners with and without hot tubs.

And the good news doesn’t end there.  We are also pleased to inform our supporting Brokers of new lower rates for sums insured from £60,000 - £100,000 and that they can now quote for sums insured up to £150,000 without the need for referral.
