Summer is well and truly here, as we enjoy soaring temperatures, balmy evenings and look forward to long awaited ‘Staycations’.
A recent survey by the RAC has revealed that the number of drivers making staycation bookings has surged by 20% in recent months, with results suggesting many of us will be travelling much further than usual to holiday destinations right here in the UK.
Hot spots include the West Country with holidaymakers heading to Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and Dorset, a separate survey revealing that 57% of drivers will be heading to the countryside and 56% heading to the seaside.
With an increasing number of cars on the road over the next few months, and the prospect of long queues a given, make sure the only worry your customer has is getting a good spot on the beach!
